TECHNICAL PACKAGE

1.                  RULES: This competition will be conducted under the rules of the Fédération Internationale de Basketball (FIBA) except as outlined below.

2.                  CATEGORIES:

            Junior Male & Female:

·        Born in 1991 or later.  Athletes participating in Post Secondary school basketball programs are ineligible.

·        Greenland – Born in 1990 or later.

3.                  TEAM COMPOSITION:

            Junior Male                - 10                

            Junior Female           - 10    

            Coaches                    -   2

            If qualified coaches are available, one must be female and one male.

4.                  OFFICIALS

5.                  MEDALS:

Individually by team

            GOLD             - 22

            SILVER          - 22

            BRONZE        - 22

6.                  Arctic Winter Games Rules

1.         Protest Procedure – The FIBA approved protest procedure will be used for the Arctic Winter Games Tournament.
