Alpine Skiing

RULES:
This competition will be conducted under the rules of the International
Federation of Skiing (FIS).

CATEGORIES:
Junior Male:
Born in 1993 or 1994
Junior Female:
Born in 1993 or 1994
Juvenile Male:
Born in 1995 or 1996
Juvenile Female:
Born in 1995 or 1996
3.
EVENTS:
All Four Categories:
o Slalom
o Dual Slalom
o Giant Slalom
Team Event (see attached for scoring system)

TEAM COMPOSITION:
Each Games Unit may enter a team comprised of a maximum of twelve (12) athletes
plus two (2) coaches, as follows:

One coach must be female and one male.
If a coach from one gender is not available a chaperon must be
substituted.

Scoring system for determining Team Event
placement.
Points will be awarded to teams based on the placing of their skiers in each individual event as follows (based on FIS World Cup events):
1st place
- 100 points
2nd place
- 80 points
3rd place
- 60 points
4th place
50 points
5th place
45 points
6th place
40 points
7th place
36 points
8th place
32 points
9th place
29 points
10th place
26 points
11th place
24 points
12th place
22 points
13th place
20 points
14th place
18 points
15th place
16 points
Each member of the team receiving the most points shall
receive the Team Event gold Ulu.
Silver and bronze Team Event Ulus will be awarded to all members of the teams
receiving the second and third highest point totals respectively.
